WHAT IS A JOB SHOWCASE?

The Job Showcase is a program which provides both training and employment opportunities to local jobseekers across a local area. Presented by a major partner in each location, the Job Showcase engages with local hospitality, tourism and retail businesses that are actively looking for employees. By providing the right training, and by hosting our Showcase Events, jobseekers have a unique opportunity to learn new skills, and show them off to some of the regions biggest employers in these fields.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

So what exactly happens throughout the Job Showcase Program? That’s easy – we lead you through a process of education, connection and employment. Incorporating the right training, introducing you and your new skills to employers, and helping you get across the line into that dream job is all part of the program!

CERTIFICATE II

Complete your Certificate II in Hospitality through our Training partner Look Now Training. During this course you will learn all the skills you need to kick start your career in the tourism and hospitality industries.

SHOWCASE EVENT

Show off your new skills at the Job Showcase Event! Put your best foot forward by serving, catering and facilitating an Industry night through local partners, where dozens of potential employers will be in attendance.

LAND THE JOB!

Now you are trained, and dozens of potential employers have seen how amazing you are, all that’s left is to land that dream job in the tourism and hospitality industry. You’ve done all the hard work – now reap the rewards!
