If you are unemployed or don’t have enough work, this is a unique opportunity to become trained and employed in the retail industry.
All participants in this program will undertake a Certificate II in Retail Services (SIR20212). You will be job ready, matched to employers and have the opportunity to demonstrate your skills at a Maroochydore Chamber Job Showcase event.
This initiative is proudly delivered by Maroochydore Chamber of Commerce.
There is no cost to course participants. This program is available for Queensland residents, aged 15 years or older, who meet the participant eligibility criteria.
We are excited to now be able to offer this program to you self-paced, online so you may study where and when you want. You can get started today, study over the Christmas holidays, and be ready to launch your hospitality career in the new year!
This program is fully funded under Skilling Queenslanders for Work and at no cost to you if you are unemployed, or seeking more work, and are a Queensland resident.
Here’s what you get:
Full-time study requires up to 6 weeks for completion and part-time study requires up to 12 weeks for completion.
Course includes: Work experience – Training support – LLN support Industry Mentors – Jobs for the right candidates
Learn skills in: Front of House – Barista – Food and Beverage – Housekeeping – Customer Service
